THE GOOD: It's pretty. The bedding looks pretty. The baskets are cute. It smells very 'plastic' out of the package. I will wash & drip dry (just in case it shrinks)it before I use it.

THE BAD: This is a cheap and flimsy product. You absolutely get what you pay for. The frame is a thin & cheap plastic. The bassinet enclosure is a flimsy cardboard, thinner than the shipping box it came in, and not much thicker than the cardboard that they package pantyhose with. The shelf at the bottom of the bassinet is made with the same cardboard.

THE UGLY: I have no idea how this passed any basic infant safety standards! I wouldn't buy this product for any extended use, at home, at grammas or anywhere.

Ordered this bassinet online and didn't notice the reviews somehow. Was horrified to see it was made of cardboard, and it came with a hole right through it! I immediately packed it back up and returned it for a refund.

This is a great bassinet for the money. Yes it is made of cardboard but who cares?...it still feels safe and secure. Your baby is in it for such a short period of time and weighs less than 10 or 15 lbs while they use it. My baby slept in this for only 1 month, so I'm glad I didn't spend alot of money! It was perfect for what I needed

yes it is cardboard, very cute for boy or girl. i bought this and was not completely satisfied wtih the cardboard and plastic material. however i did use it with all my children. my two boys could only stay in it for about 1-2 months b/c they started rocking it too much for my comfort. my daughter however, being smaller, stayed in it until she was 7 months old(15 lbs) i would not use this on a baby that weighs much more than that. my daughter was very premature so she was so much tinier than my 9 lb boys. it did the job but if you are looking for something to hold your child for a long time then this is not the bassinet for you. good luck! and i hope i helped.

I too, bought this because I thought it was so cute. I have pink ribbons for my baby girl and blue in case I have a boy in the future. The price was great too. However, I should have listened to the previous reviewers. This IS cardboard. Not just flimsy particle board, CARDBOARD! Not to mention, the matress is down WAY deep into the bassinet. We had to stack beach towels under it so my daughter could be at my level, which is how most bassinets come these days. The fabric is cheap and the matress is about half an inch thick. Normally I would say save money but spend a little more to get a better quality one for your baby.

I haven't actually used it yet, our baby is due in another month but I love it so far. it's cute and sturdy. Yes it seems to be made out of plastic and cardboard but it's not thin and that's what every other bassinet I've seen has been made out of. It's very sturdy, we even put our 25lb toddler in it for a test run and it held up well. The baskets underneath are perfect for storing those things you need in the middle of the night but don't want to get up for. Overall it's a great bassinet for a great price, especially considering you don't use them long.

At first I was very excited to receive this bassinet as a gift. It was so cute! I soon realized this bassinet was not safe for my baby. It is very flimsy. One day I put my 10 lb. little girl in it for a nap and it rocked over. Thank goodness the wall was there to catch the bassinet so she did not fall out! I would absolutely not buy this bassinet no matter how cheap it may be! It is very unsafe! Do not buy!

For the short time a baby is in a bassinet this is a great value. I did have to buy a bassinet mattress, which you can find under $20.

Only place this thing will be traveling is back to the store! This product is ridiculous! I wouldn't put my kid in it, for sure.
